You choose your personal dreams and business but not your Purpose. Purpose makes the choice of you. It is not what you do, it's who you are. When you're operating in purpose you are operating in the will of God: Changing & Saving lives.

Serving is about others, not you. Serving adds value to others, it is done from a pure place without hidden or wrong motives,
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others." (Phil 2:3-4)
Your servitude should bring God glory. With everything you do, do it as unto the Lord (Col 3:23) with excellence putting your best foot forth, this is every we nspire to do.
